2. How do I prepare for a Mammography test?
Preparation is very simple. On the day of your Mammography test, please do not wear any deodorant, antiperspirant, talcum powder, or lotion under your arms or on your breasts. These substances can show up on the digital X-ray as white spots and interfere with an accurate diagnosis. Wear a comfortable two-piece outfit so you only need to remove your top.
3. Is a Digital Mammogram painful?
While traditional mammograms can be uncomfortable, our center uses ergonomic paddles and smart Auto-Release technology that instantly removes pressure the second the scan is done. Most patients report feeling only brief pressure, not pain.
